From the roots to the top

After a dazzling success in 2021, rediscover Roots to the Top in 2022!Hanging nets,perched tables Andgiant nests await you at the top of La Grange Park, like so many invitations to explore the trees, as well as the plants and animals that live there. Of thefacilitiesincredible, completely secure, to discover in the company ofnaturalists.  Some workshops are offered at height, others on the ground. Organized by professionals from the Swiss Tree Care Association, the Ideehaut association, the La Libellule association and various fauna and flora experts. All audiences, from 8 years old.

• September 8:   "Batman is in the city" with the Western Coordination Center for the Study and Protection of Bats
• September 10: Chats at the foot of the trees with Mr. Ernst Zurcher, Professor of wood sciences and writer, “Trees, between Earth and Sky”

In the evening, BRANE project offers a discovery through the auditory sense of spatialized sound pieces. An acoustic-vegetal dive.  A harmony of harmonics on the full natural frequency. The contents are varied; such as recordings of sounds of species present in Geneva, or the work of ecologist Bruno Manser.
