Two Becketti clowns and a technician set the whole theatrical machine on fire!

Brothers of the theatre, passionate about working on the body and its comic mechanisms, Philippe Gouin and Joan Mompart draw on their memories of Beckett to embody two clowns from another time. In a world without words, they seek each other, guess each other, dig into the silence to write the poem of human daily life. Their choreography, flexible and millimeter-perfect, is also that of machinery: special effects, smoke, apparitions... in chorus or in canon, the two artists deploy a farandole of funny and hypnotic situations. A thousand emotions surface from their gestures. "Actapalabra" or "acting words": making an attempt beyond what can be said.

BRIGHT PURPLE. Oh what is it?

They look like big clouds… bright purple.

They swell, swell, swell.

BLUE. Hop! Two clowns arrive.

They are ONE, not two! It is the SAME, but in two.

AH no it's not the same, this one is smaller...

look how they dance, how they move!

RED. Their world is without words, so they speak with their GESTURES, they GESTURE the words.

YELLOW. A delicate balloon descends from the sky, BAM!

I hear a dog barking, and… horns. City music.
